We, at fundforngos.net, have been following the Rise International team activities and we are really impressed with the work they have done over the years. Now, we hear that over 100 runners have challenged themselves to run for the Chicago Half Marathon or the Bank of America Chicago Marathon with the hope of “making a difference in the lives of children in Angola!”
The marathon is on Sunday, i.e., September 11 at 7 am.
How can you help:-
- If you are around the city on Sunday, do join Team Rise International workers to show that you care.
- Buy Team RISE support shirts for $15.
- Wear something red, white and blue to commemorate the 10th anniversary of 9/11.
